Introduction
This page contains an overview of regulations according to the mentioned groups. The regulations concerning taxes can be viewed (in an easy-to-navigate way) in the following ways: the structure can be shown, entire documents or parts of documents can be downloaded by structure, and revised texts of regulations can be shown.
Only issue numbers of Narodne novine (the Official Gazette) are listed with those regulations that are not narrowly connected with taxes.
In this way the Tax Administration of the Ministry of Finance allows you to use new technologies which currently represent the latest developments in regulation browsing in the world. The use of these technologies is transparent for end users and makes it possible for them to increase their efficiency in finding a particular regulation or individual parts of a regulation (paragraph, article..) with a very pleasant-to-view user interface.
Technologies
All the regulations are stored in separate XML files. XML is a universal format for data storage which enables data to be easily transferred from one database to another. XML has been chosen as a technological solution for Tax Administration regulations because it allows the very precise definition of the structure of regulations. In addition, the search for a particular part of a regulation has been made easier because the application for navigation through regulations makes it possible to open individual regulations and have an insight into the hierarchical structure of regulations. XML files with regulations are indexed with the Microsoft Index server. If you choose the search function and enter key words (or a phrase) search, the result of your search will be all current versions of regulations where the key words/phrases appear.
